Carolin Schabbing

Carolin Schabbing is a media scholar and experience designer researching XR and 4D imaging in theatre and live performance. She is a doctoral candidate at the University of Potsdam and spent three years as a researcher in the DFG priority program "The Digital Image" at the University of Bonn, where she scientifically accompanied the AR theatre production "Der Bau" (after Franz Kafka) at Staatstheater Nürnberg. She has taught XR applications at the design faculty of KISD and the architecture faculty of TH Köln, and works at the intersection of research, design, and emerging technologies such as XR and AI.
